I’ve been using Cake as well as the DeFi Wallet app for nearly 3 months now and it’s actually worked very well for me, honestly. Some small bugs/quirks and technical knowhow are a bit of a prerequisite for the app, but overall — a pretty good experience.
That being said, I actually wrote about all the same doubts and concerns I had in my own initial review of Cake. I’ve generally been pretty happy with the results, and at the moment I am very happy with the performance of the DFI token, which moves tightly in correlation with BTC. It has been strongly outperforming BTC in recent weeks.
If you’re nervous or unsure about whether or not this is a big rug pull (I truly don’t believe that, NFA), my suggestion would be to simply claim your rewards and send them off to an exchange like KuCoin weekly to be converted to your token of choice (in my case, BTC). And like everything else, don’t put all your eggs in one basket. With all the BSC hacks we’ve seen, it’s probably best to dabble in several projects carefully and to not “ape in” to any one thing.
